System Integrator

	System Integrator, IT Technology consultant and reseller for approximately 25 customers in Belgium and Holland. Customer base included law offices, accounting offices, publishing companies and smaller manufacturing companies.
	Installed and supported Windows NT 4.0 and 2000 servers, mostly BackOffice 4.0 and 2000.
	Performed extensive support and troubleshooting of Exchange 5.5, Exchange 2000, Proxy and firewalls.
	Supported several custom developed accounting and document management systems. Installed and supported several Cisco routers. Installed and configured secure wireless 802.11b networks.
	Worked daytime or evening, whenever needed, to support business to prevent interruption of business. On call for emergency fixes.

Senior Telecoms Engineer, Antwerp, Belgium (1995 – 1997)

	Converted and migrated Opel/GM Dealer Communication System (DCS2) from Unix to Windows NT 4.0. System is used by 3500 Opel/GM dealers across Europe for vehicle sales, order and warranty.
	Ported and tested communications software, with majority of programming done in C.
	Tested new system and led technical support team of 8 for new system during migration to production.

Senior Telecoms Engineer, Brussels, Belgium (1991 – 1995)

	Installed, configured and supported BSCS GSM mobile phone billing system. System was SUN Solaris.
	Implemented and tested systems for BMW and Talkline, leading German GSM phone operators.
	Installed, upgraded and supported the CMIS (VAX/VMS based) mobile phone billing systems in East and Western Europe. Systems supported between 10,000 and 150,000 mobile phone subscribers.
	Designed graphical user interface for a VAX/VMS based call-logging system.
	Designed and implemented VAX/VMS based network management system for the EDS European Information Management Center in Stockley Park, England.
	Evaluated new platforms for network management systems.

Senior Telecoms Engineer, Ruesselsheim, Germany ( 1989 – 1991)

	Developed network management software for Telefonica network management project. Installed and supported software at Telefonica in Madrid, Spain.
	Managed Lufthansa X.25 data network project at Frankfurt Airport, which involved testing and installation of Hughes X.25 switches with existing host computer equipment (IBM & UNISYS).
	As Team member of network management study team, researched, consulted and advised Lufthansa.

Senior Systems Engineer

Designed and developed communication software for Williams Companies' optical fiber and microwave network spanning more than 10,000 miles across the U.S. Software kept tabs on operating status of transmission equipment and ambient conditions (smoke, temperature and site security). Software controlled variety of network functions remotely (cross-connects that forward optical signals to destinations or switch signals from one fiber to another).

Systems Engineer

	As a team member, designed and implemented the fault tolerant X.25 backbone networks for American Airlines and Delta Airlines. Communication cost savings was substantial after migrating from expensive leased lines to cost effective packed switched X.25 networks.
	Integrated, tested and debugged network control software for American Airlines and Delta Airlines data networks.

Software Engineer

Tested, implemented and supported fault tolerant SABRE Network Control System for American Airlines. American Airlines owned one of the largest private networks in the world, connecting more than 100,000 SABRE terminals.

Systems Engineer

Developed and tested new fault tolerant dualized CR80 operating system for airline networks.

Software Engineer

	Designed, coded and tested LAN software for CR80 operating system. Designed, coded and tested X.25 driver software for CR protocol converter.
	Theoretical studies of Synthetical Aperture Radar signals (SAR), sponsored by Danish Space Board.
	Designed, coded and tested communication software for Military HAWK protocol converter. Awarded military clearance.
